Tim Burton set to reboot ‘Addams Family’ as TV series…

Tim Burton – visionary filmmaker behind such horror classics as Beetlejuice and Sweeny Todd – reportedly had plans to bring classic 60’s sitcom ‘The Addams Family’ into the 21st century along with the help of Smallville executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

The show is set to be a direct reboot of the 1964 sitcom and intends to ignore the continuity of the 1991 Barry Sonnenfeld series. Weather or not we will see the whole cast of character return is yet to be seen but rumours have been circulating of a cast that may include Eva Green, Rami Malek and Margot Robbie.

Burtons prowess in both gothic horror and family films sees him as an ideal choice for the show frontrunner.
